CONFERENCE FOCUS
The Boston International Social Work Conference will be a forum for faculty, staff and practitioners to discuss key questions related to global social work:
• develop sustainable international initiatives
• infuse international content into curricula
• manage international field placements
• tackle resource challenges of international collaborations
• support and collaborate with faculty engaged in international work
• assess and evaluate international programs
• find funding sources for international social work
• consider safety and risk management measures
• build alliances with international partners
The conference will combine plenary sessions, roundtable discussions, and skills-focused workshops. The conference will be held at the historic Omni Parker House Hotel in downtown Boston.
CERTIFICATES & CONTINUING EDUCATION
Each attendee will receive a certificate of attendance and participants who are licensed social workers will receive 12.5 hours social work continuing education credits awarded by Boston College Graduate School of Social Work.
