Mama, Robin S.
Ph.D., Professor and Chair, MSW Program Director, Department of Social Work, Monmouth University, received her BSW degree from College Misericordia, in Dallas, PA and her Master of Social Service, Master of Law and Social Policy and Ph.D. from Bryn Mawr College. As a staff member at the Philadelphia Area Project on Occupational Safety and Health, Dr. Mama was responsible for several projects, including projects on both AIDS and asbestos in the workplace, and provided technical assistance to unions on workers compensation, contract language for health and safety, and right-to-know information. Dr. Mama now teaches in the International and Community concentration of the MSW program. Dr. Mama serves as the representative of the International Federation of Social Workers at the United Nations, is the Chair of the International Committee of NASW, and serves on the Editorial Board of Social Work Education: The International Journal.
