Kay Davidson, Dean and Professor, University of Connecticut School of Social Work. Prior to this position, Dr. Davidson was a faculty member and Associate Dean at the Hunter College School of Social Work and on the faculty of Columbia University School of Social Work. Dr. Davidson brings to her career in education many years of experience working in England and the United States as a practitioner and administrator in social work in health and mental health care. Dr. Davidson’s research and publications are on social work issues in health care and on social work education. She is an active member of the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), National Association of Social Workers (NASW), National Association of Deans and Directors of Schools of Social Work (NADD) and the Society of Social Work Leaders in Health Care, currently serving as co-chair of the Society’s Products and Publications Committee. She is also a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine

Kay Davidson earned her DSW from the City University of New York, her MS from the Columbia University School of Social Work, a Certificate in Medical Social Work from the Institute of Medical Social Work, London, and her BA from the London School of Economics.
